A 130-bpm rather hard dance techno beat loop, with drums and synth. Rather simple and obvious progression. Created in fl studio.

Trying to find some nice sounds on my modular. Playing around. . . All modular. The bass drum is a filter "plopp".

A simple beat. I have shaped this kick myself in the modular synth. The high-hat is from barton musical circuits decaying analog noise (bmc23). The other sound is a small sample. . . Analog delay on that sample.

Hollow, reverby snare with some low rumble, fizzly highs, and nudged-down frequency ranges. ("derezzed" because i cut down some resonance).

Native instruments battery3 was triggered by explosion of fireworks. I recorded fireworks and change it into midi notes with logic 7. Smaller signals are played by edirol sd-80 triggered by ambient noises around me.

Here are some drums i made, on the synthesizer again. In order they are: parallel compressed kick, regular kick, snare, closed hi-hat and open hi-hat. The set before the break is mastered, while the set after the break isn't (i did throw a little limiter in there though just to boost 'em up a bit easily, but they're still not mastered). Enjoy. Credit is appreciated but not at all needed, i just like synthesizer-ing.

Composed in musescore, synths added with lmms, additional sound done with audactiy. Starts out with bass drums, progresses to synths held on one note, then snares. Double bass creates rising tension. For bone-clicking sound effects, i just shook a handful of pencils. Cymbals at the end for final climax of the sound. Sound design originally for use by twoallnighters comic dub studio on youtube. A clap-type beat made using an arturia microbrute analogue synthesiser.

Crash sample one-shot. These crashes were all made with virtual drum synths and processed through some analogue console emulation and added saturation. They were then trimmed to get rid of any dead space before or after the sample and finally normalized to 0db. This file is part of my anu crashes pack.

Electronic drumloop extracted from a song that originally includes "asdsdasd. Wav" too but that particular synth pattern was later used in another song, but in a bit modified composition.

I used the "the challenge. Wav" base (id: 561988) and made a simple melody with a synth, added effects and some beats. I used some fl studio effects: reverb, echo, distortion, equalization, amplify, low-fi effect, low-pass, drums and synthesizer. Amazing challenge as always, thanks badoink.

This is just a simple four to the floor kick drum pattern at 120 bpm. I created the kick itself by layering various synth timbres in rob papen's albino plugin. Processing was also applied such as compression, eq and using subtle distortion in specific frequency areas to get it sounding like this. This is a beat i made using the percussion presets form fab filter 1 cm synth for a track i was writing. Each hit was then loaded into abletons impulse drum sampler and tweaked for my pleasure. The snare was subject to some serious stretching,which gives it a rasping sound!fab filter 1 really is a simple but very useful synth.

Simple synth snare + 3 higher speeds. ⸻ "how do you make a classic synth snare, do you just take white noise and go like. . . " *goes like* ". . . Huh" yep you just go like. (going like consists of setting an oscillator to sine with just a release tail and noise + a lowpass snapping up and trailing off gently + compression/distortion of some sort + high frequency shelf snapping down from high gain and then back up).

Original drum sample recorded straight from an original vintage yamaha psr-36 digital synthetizer from 1988. Best quality you can find online. Also, some samples aren't half bad. Use creatively and add some fx's. No eq or fx. Just some denoising.

Tuned percussive sounddesign, made with a synth, a big reverb, an eq and a guitar amp. It is a bit more agressive than the previous one. You can use it for filmscore music, ambient. . .

More modular hip-hop. Does it work? neeed a sampler i think. . . Some compressor and limiter in audacity. Little too much bass.

Using a bass drum module to get not that bassdrummy sounds. . . Combining this with different types of feedback. I didn't know how to end the recording, as you will notice. I'm using an analog delay and spring reverb. Maybe the ending in it self is interesting? i find it hard to "tag" this sound :-)how useless is this sound on a scale from 1 to 5? 5 is totally useless. . .
